Band Schedule

Band Students and Parents-

I hope everyone's summer is going well!  I have already begun working in the band room in preparation for summer lessons and Czech Days.  If you are at the school and see the lights in the band room please come in and introduce yourself.

There have been a few adjustments to the Czech Days schedule.  However, the summer lesson and band camp schedule have remained the same.  I have trimmed the performance obligations of our younger students.  I realize Czech Days is a busy time for everyone in the community and hopefully these adjustments give our families with multiple children in multiple activities some flexibility and time to enjoy the festivities.  The changes are as follows:

* All grade levels refer the students' grade level during the upcoming 2017-2018 school year.

    * 6th Grade will only perform during the Children's Parade on Friday evening.  (No 6th graders on Saturday or Sunday).

    * 7th, 8th, and 9th WILL NOT perform during the Children's Parade on Friday evening.  (They will still perform with the rest of the high school

      band on Saturday and Sunday.)

Below is the summer band schedule updated to match the changes above.  If your child needs a Czech outfit, please begin making those arrangements soon.  I hope to see all students at the rehearsals August 1st-3rd.  Every band director teachers marching differently, so it is very important that everyone is there.  Please contact me if your child cannot attend rehearsals so that I may plan accordingly.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.   nick.thompson@wilberclatonia.org

I look forward to seeing you soon,

Mr. Thompson
