Meal and Business Meeting Held at Hotel Wilber

Following a delicious meal, chapter president, Wyatt Schroder, welcomed over 40 members and guests to the banquet.
Vice President, Haley Yohe narrated a PowerPoint presentation she prepared summarizing the chapter's activities since last May.
The Officers presented the High Merit members with certificates. Seventh grade members who received certificates were Logan Schrodt, Jake Sykes, Scott Hynes and Nick Maschmann.
Top Eighth Grade High Merit Certificates were presented to Oslay Molina, Clayton McKay, Michaella Scusa and Cody Timmerman.
Then Wyatt presented Certificates of Service to the outgoing officers: Morgan Tranmer, Parliamentarian; Daysha Askamit (posthumously), Historian; Megan Gray, VP of Public Relations; Corrina Hickman, VP of Finance; Aubrey Shore, VP of Communications and Records; and Haley Yohe, Vice President.
Mrs. Marks thanked the members for a great year, and the parents who helped in the concession stand last fall.
She was pleased with how much the members had learned in their chapter participation this year, including how t-shirts are printed or embroidered 'en mass' (during the tour of KHs Sports in Crete), and meeting protocols, such as placing one's cell phone on quiet during a meeting and the proper way to make a motion ("I move that...", rather than "I make a motion that...". They also learned how to greet customers and count back change while working in the concession stand.
Mrs. Marks then conducted the Installation of Officers Ceremony for the 2010-2011 officers. Maddison Troshynski, Parliamentarian; Lexi Martin, Historian; Bailey Cerveny, Reporter; Cortney Krauter, VP of Finance; Jordyn Cerveny, VP of Communications and Records; Emily Vales, Vice President, and Alec Munro, President.
