Wilber-Clatonia Girls Track and Field State Meet Results

1.  Cami Hasenohr, 2nd in the 100, and 2nd in the 200.

2.  400m Relay team was 4th.  (Jenna Uher, Cami Hasenohr, Kayla Asher, Shelby Pflanz)

3.  Katie Oliver, 9th in the 800.

4.  Taylor Riechers, 10th and Kyra Jiskra, 12th in the Discus

5.  Ariana Munro was 17th in the Long Jump

We had a really solid state meet.  We finished 9th out of 90 teams, it was our goal to get into the top 10.  We ended up with 6 state medals and gained valuable experience at state for some of the underclassmen.

Cami was a double silver medalist in the 100 and 200 which was great; the 400 meter relay team of Jenna Uher, Cami Hasenohr, Kayla Asher, and Shelby Pflanz really ran well and finished 4th.  They ran their best time of the season by almost a second.  Katie Oliver ran a great 800, she missed medaling by .03 seconds.  She ran 2:25.39 which is the 2nd fastest 800 ever at W-C; it was 4 seconds faster than her district time so she had a pretty good race.

We had 8 state qualifiers. Six are underclassmen so that is positive. We will pick up some quality freshmen and get back a girl or two who were injured this season, so we are looking forward to another good season next year.
